Yesterday, I asked an employee at the craft store which type of batting I should use to stuff the cushions on a cat couch. I assume she is a cat owner herself, because she thoughtfully answered: "polyester batting because it's extremely washable, in case a cat pukes on it" 😂

Technically *we're* not the ones killing the trees, just summoning them to be killed in our place. That's totally better, right? 👀

I guess that just goes to show that folks will put a bit of themselves into it no matter what 😂

She was just starting to pick back up the pieces of her life, which was shattered in 2023 when she suddenly lost both of her children within 3 months of each other. I'm not the most religious person, but I take some comfort in thinking that they're all back together again somewhere. I miss them all.

This is perhaps an argument for sometimes judging a book by its cover. Or at least, ya know, READING the cover 😂
