I get about one a day, and I know other authors who get them a lot too. Not nearly as disturbing as the (real life) book marketer who somehow got my personal phone number and called and texted me, despite the efforts I've taken to scrub that information from the interwebs.

Both! It's generally just the absolute best of what I've read in the last 4-6 months (regardless of theme), but what also seems to often happen is I unconsciously (or consciously) seem to gravitate toward certain types of books. This season, I seem to have been craving and responding most to vibes.
