It was a pleasure to work with @oaspa.bsky.social on this project, and to hear the views of people in such a wide range of roles who care about open access. Do check out the position paper: it's certainly got me thinking about where open access goes next! #openaccess

Enquiries from doctoral students on "thesis by publication" always seem to come to me. I've even had someone ask me about it since I've been a consultant! Delighted to get an email from Facet on this book that I will doubtless be recommending forever www.facetpublishing.co.uk/page/detail/...
PhD Thesis by Publication in Social Science Research
Focusing on education and library research, this book aims to be a practical guide on how to create PhD theses effectively, incorporating scholarly publications written during candidature.

Always amuses me when my soapbox rants from my old work come up in my new work. Today my topic will be publication versioning and my rant is entitled "what is a duplicate anyway?" The short version: a duplicate publication is like a weed, its definition is entirely situational.
