There is SO much crazy. How about ~10 seconds of Puerto Rican zen? 🇵🇷 l🧘🏼‍♀️ 🇵🇷
It’s 2026 — midterms on the way.

I have not yet heard a Virginia candidate run on the promise to support impeachment to stop the madness. Winning platform and they can create a short list of 3-5 people they will move to impeach on day one.

Aaron Rodgers’ last game is a thing of beauty. So many F bombs. 😂 Not exactly a role model for the next generation.

Hopefully he leaves it all in the locker room and doesn’t expect his mystery woman to carry this emotional load for him. 😒

Jack Smith to testify publicly before Congress next week
Jack Smith to testify publicly before Congress next week
Former special counsel Jack Smith will testify in a public hearing next week, setting up a potentially dramatic retelling of his investigations into President Donald Trump. House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan said Monday that Smith will appear Jan. 22 as part of the congressional probe of the investigation into Trump’s efforts to subvert the 2020 election. The former special counsel testified for eight hours in a closed-door Judiciary Committee hearing in December and transcripts were later released. Smith’s legal team requested he be permitted to appear in public. On Friday, Jordan told POLITICO he planned to invite Smith to a public hearing. The public hearing will allow Republicans to openly question Smith’s investigation, which the president and many Republicans in Congress have labeled a witch hunt. It will allow Democrats to highlight the evidence that led the special counsel to charge Trump with attempting to reverse the 2020 presidential election and mishandle classified documents. In his closed-door testimony, Smith defended his investigation and said he is interested in sharing the results but that the Department of Justice prevented him based on its interpretation of a court order keeping details of the case under seal.

It is not coincidental that slapping down Kelly happened with the Venezuela debacle. All of this is about testing the obedience of the US Military.
To take over the entire hemisphere, he needs 100% compliance of his military.

If evidence has been destroyed, juries are instructed that they can assume that evidence would have shown the defendant's guilt.
The Trump administration releasing only a portion of the Epstein files, and blacking out so much text in the files they did release, is clear evidence of Trump's guilt.

Equality is good for everyone. Fewer men get injured on the job when equipment is retooled to accommodate women. Win-Win!!
Happy International Mens Day. Men still do the most dangerous jobs. Are more likely to take their own lives. Experience perceived social penalties for being paternal, caring, sensitive etc. So, with consent, hug a man today. Fixing the patriarchy is in the best interests of men too!

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Senate Ds will vote to reopen government, knowing the House will not cooperate on the ACA in December… political manure to show they care while simultaneously doing nothing AND giving up leverage so they can point fingers later.

We need a word for this kind of politics, because it is the worst.

Who’s planning a “send national guard home and feed the kids” protest for Nov 1, when WIC loses funding??

The waste of financial resources right now is… insane. Pretty sure Rs are planning on blaming Ds for starving kids when they could just pass the budget of their dreams alone (but accountable).

The arc of history bends towards justice when we work together and bend it in that direction.

What #MeToo was for date rape / assaults / professional environments, the Epstein survivors press conference will be for sex trafficking and pedophiles.

Pretty sure we can all agree:
pedos go to jail.

Calling Rob Wittman… rural hospitals will close and we’ve already lost enough of those… debt will go up and we’ve already got enough of that… billions for deportation and that is definitely not our biggest issue. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!

You know you've been conditioned to live in a black & white paradigm when you have no ability to distinguish between

-Marxism
-Communism
-Socialism
-Democratic Socialism

If all those words scream in your brain BAD, but you can't describe their differences, you've been conditioned to feel this way

If the Trump Admin is successful at removing the ~4% of our workforce that is undocumented, there isn’t a corresponding number of Americans ready and willing to do all those jobs.

Which means some of our vital but uggggh jobs will not have laborers. We should be thankful instead of being jerks.

When LEO show up en masse in “plainclothes” they set up a perfect environment for human trafficking. What stops human traffickers from renting a van and pretending to be ICE?

Not to mention the many concerns about due process, Executive branch overreach, and the lack of constitutionality. Scary.
Here's a picture that a @kuow.org photographer took in Seattle yesterday, showing the ICE officers masked up in the hallways as they waited to arrest people coming out of their hearings.

As far as I’m concerned, Jim Comey foisted Trump on us in the first election. Trump owes him bigly. This nonsense about shells is just another way to make him uncomfortable for awhile. If they disappear Jim Comey, we better all get scared.

I just checked. Still no invasion.

Our Constitution, despite gaps, imperfections, and offensive (3/5) metrics, needs to be upheld.

Maybe start casually dropping into social conversations that we are not under attack and due process is for all of us. Uphold the rule of law by adding it to a convo.
We are not under invasion.

There is no justification for suspending our constitutional rights.

Every single American should speak out against this, loudly and forcefully.
Stephen Miller: "The writ of habeas corpus can be suspended in a time of invasion. So I would say that's an option we're actively looking at."

If you won’t call it a genocide (which it is, per the academics who study such things) at least call it a MEDIEVAL SIEGE.

I wish all those family values members of R leadership would do something to make this better. It’s fully within their control.
This is a searing editorial in the Financial Times.

The West’s Shameful Silence on Gaza.

If this had been written by students, and not the Editorial Board of the FT, they would be getting snatched off the streets by ICE.

Heads up: When you see a post from someone you agree with, but you are reluctant to “like” or share it, that is the opposite of resistance.

It’s a fear based decision and obeying in advance. Shed the comfort zone. It’s where Democracy goes to die.

The unleashed human spirit should be joy, not fear or hate.
