Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Has taxing the rich ever worked? History shows it has—across many countries and countless instances. #GaryStevenson provides an example that resonates particularly with Americans.
If we refuse to tax the wealth of billionaire #oligarchs, they will devour society.

That's weird, I'm hearing story after story of how your party spent 14 years increasing child poverty, doubling homelessness, trebling national debt, wasting £8.7bn on dodgy PPE, raising taxes to a record high and filling our rivers with shit.

@bsky.app Getting lots of semi naked girls 'following' me. Is this a sign that this platform will ultimately head down the cesspit.

I love the idea of this platform. But looking at some who have followed me - whom I've had to block - makes me think it's too much like hard work

The Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall, owned by King Charles and Prince William, are worth £1.8 billion. They are exempt from most tax. Last year they made £50m profit and paid no corporation tax.

Last year HMRC fined 83,000 self-employed people on low incomes for failing to file a tax return on time.

They should focus on tax dodging by the richest, rather than penalising the poorest.

Tax Justice UK say:

There are 55 billionaires in the UK.

A 1% wealth tax on them and the very richest could raise £22bn a year.

Enough to pay 276,000 nurses AND double dental funding in England, with change to spare.

Amazon must pay more tax.

Why?

Amazon would not be able to operate in the UK without an educated, healthy workforce. Or without roads and infrastructure. Or without a police and fire service.

We all pay for these public services. Why shouldn’t they?

Amazon will make bumper profits this Black Friday. Time for them to pay more in tax
This week we were at Downing Street. We handed in a petition of 110,000 signatures, demanding the government close tax loopholes for Amazon.
