I took in one from outside in New Orleans, and after she passed we adopted another from a rescue in Houston, and in between there was a sweet guy we befriended on our dog walks greeting the neighborhood outside his house.

We only had about 3 little bags* last year and barely made it half an hour even after I pilfered the cupboard for more, so I’m excited to see how far this takes us.

FYI for folks with a Chase Freedom card, they have a thing where you can use points to repay yourself for certain donations at 1.25 the normal rate they would be in exchange for cashback, so instead of $68 spending money I get to help provide 850 meals.
