A tiny anti-consumerism gesture, while we're all being bombarded with "Buy now!!": free gift guides make ideal festive paper chains. Pick the pages that go with your colour scheme, cut each one into equal width strips and glue the ends together. Free and surprisingly soothing to do.

I love and recommend the Libby app. But sometimes its search function is WILD. I searched "England's Culture War" (non-fiction about the Civil War) and look what it gave me. 🤯

If sex was obvious, you collection of prejudiced logic failures, no-one gender non-conforming would ever be challenged in the toilets. Because their sex would be obvious; it isn't.

Trying times - trying not to eat more than I can realistically digest. Not pictured, glass of ice cold rosé.

Current status: on a vintage train, purely for the joy of it.
