About to fly back to Finland after ten days in the UK for the excellent @the-ciep.bsky.social conference and catching up with loved ones — some of whom live round the corner from David Bowie… it was wonderful to see people and to be home, now off to the other home.

”We drove so fast, we got fined in Montreaux” — Wivi Lönn, Hanna Parviainen, and her car — from Markkanen and Virtanen’s book about them. @ninabake2.bsky.social I live across the road from Hanna’s factory (in Finland) I can see if she was in a club but she was certainly an early car owner
