The best decision I have made recently is not doing anything. I do breakfast with friends, sometimes go to Thanksgiving day at the racetrack (a New Orleans tradition!) and come home and read books on my couch. It’s freeing and I need the break, it makes me so happy.

That sounds like such an awesome class!! Chemistry was always so hard for me, but that sounds like one of those classes where it would (hopefully) be talked about in a way that makes sense in the larger world.

I eat me lunch alone every day and it’s so important! I work in healthcare and get some guff for not eating in the “doctor’s lounge” with everyone else, but no thank you. Absolutely not. My interns also know that lunchtime= alone time.
