It took a bunch of my friends with an interest in my book and, frankly, not wanting to be an imposter on the Trans SF Writer's pack, to get me to hustle the book into the world.

One of the best things I did.

Publishing didn't save me. I saved myself.

I have always unabashedly loved a pink and black combo. This is my first attempt at laying it down on a mini.

Base coats only so far on this faux Sister of Battle. Very fiddly. But excellent coverage with the Vallejo pink.

A knock off Warhammer Sister of Battle. All of it is base coated only except the head, sword, and hands are still primer Grey. The mini has black armor with pink trim. A couple of the icons and fleur-di-lis are in gold.

My first proper Warhammer 40k mini was a Rainbow Warrior space marine. This gal takes the same color cues as... I dunno.. an auxiliary support trooper? The blue armor panels and the shoulder stripes make it match.

Chapter 1 - Giulia. The hangover needed into my head before I was awake. Under my pillow, I squeezed my eyes shut against the day. I was on stage last night. Then there were shots. Then... I'm not sure. One mosh pit blends into another after a while and yesterday's rum was not helping with my memory. A concert hall of sweaty Punks and veins full of alcohol left me feeling gross in a very specific way so I must have been at a show. I peeked an eye open.
