i was with my dad on one of these trains. he opened a window, stuck his head out to see what's coming, and almost died immediately. what's coming was a telegraph pole, wooshing past right beside the window. i'd never seen him look so sheepish

"test trains ran through the area to find if that section in particular was door-opening inducing, nothing was found"

buddy you gotta have adjacent trains running fast in the opposite direction. give me 0 trains, give me 12 trains, give me one trains sideways, give me -1 trains, give me NaN trains

revising my theory from being passively sucked out by the call of the void (and/or low air pressure), to actively being pulled out by the alluring calls of mermaids

i'm watching this and trying to predict what happens. so far i'm thinking that section of track is bumpy. the slam door trains had doors that didn't always lock securely, i can definitely imagine the lock jiggling and a door swings open on a turn. and then you get sucked out by the call of the void

my motivation is, of course, that it makes me happy to look at

yeah i do this quite often, grabbing a whole line and not needing to be accurate about it. especially with using a rollermouse. less so multiple lines, annette is correct. maybe those were the motivation for rc(1), but those weren't the motivation for me using this prompt, just a nice bonus
