Finished Warrior Princess Assassin while at the museum today. Pleased to report it has not turned into a love triangle (yuck!) but has stayed a three-person romance (yay!).

For today's #DailySong, I invite you to clear your move bar or fill that little ring or whatever your personal metric is for "I have got off my butt this hour".

This season feels particularly cruel somehow, with the unexpected loss of three friends in just weeks and an elder relative in rapid decline. It's hard to regain my footing.

In today's #DailySong, I give you the song that absolutely does not belong on my Chill Mix this morning. Sorry Spotify algo, this is the exact opposite of chill.

Feeling personally victimised by my "golden oldies Saturday morning" playlist on Spotify this morning. But also it's quite good.

What would you like to find in a Christmas cracker?

(Rules: It must fit in a Christmas cracker. Ignore what you know of things that actually come in Christmas crackers.)

For today's #DailySong, I bring you this lovely bit of vintage shoegaze.

You know, usually when someone is accused of something they didn't do, their response is "I didn't do that", not "you can't prove it".

I'm just kinda curious how the NYT and WSJ ended up switching places between moderately conservative and batshit misogynist bananapants without actually switching owners.

(Please don't explain to me. I'm scared to know.)

Today's #DailySong is this delightful love song. We've dodged Swan Upon Lida on this grey and dull Wednesday, good job us!

One of the problems of having matching black cats: I spend way too much time demanding "Which kitten are you? Confess!" and waiting for them to turn their heads so I can see their collars.

My NLOG villain arc: I'm physically average but I've always had great aim. In 8th grade we started volleyball. Now gym was fun as I smacked bullies in the face at high speed with impunity. If you took a volleyball to the face in 1991, I'd say I'm sorry but you were kind of a little shit so I'm not.

My petty yak-shaving of the day involves going through my LibraryThing library and editing all the book titles to remove the stupid Amazon-style blurb.

Just finished Six of Crows. 4.5⭐ read, losing half a star only because my brain kept stuttering over the character's ages. I was mentally ageing them up a decade just to cope. I can highly recommend it though, great heist story.

If a bra cannot survive the washer it's too delicate for this world.
I have exactly three bras that have never been in the washing machine, and they are pretty, expensive lace things that are meant to be purely decorative and not actually functional. Daily wear bras that can manage my rack are just not going to be too precious to go for a quick spin in the washer.
LISTEN, if a bra cannot survive the washing machine, it cannot survive wrangling my tits. that's just facts, okay.

So I went down a several-hour yt music rabbit hole and now I'm at Somewhere Only We Know and how does Tom Chaplin look like an infant here? This is unreasonable. I am being personally victimised by the linear passage of time!
