Masking helps stop disabled people like me dying, being excluded from society, and avoids passing on this kind of preventable illness. But if that’s not worth the tradeoff for you, consider protecting yourself. Just think about if you really need your face uncovered while sat silently on a train

Haven’t done anything for Mpls in awhile so I don’t know the answer but do contractors doing business with them feel that same way? Or do they understand it won’t matter at all? 🤨

Working on a pursuit right now with a municipal client in another state. The project would use federal funds so we’re limited in how we can talk about equity, but we KNOW this city still values diverse businesses and they will prefer a project team that includes minority-owned firms.

on top of that, in engineering I see a lot of firms that are women-owned as a gloss - white male run, led, and dominated, but a guy’s wife “owns” the company. (Not something that’s been noticeable to me when working with MBE firms). Stats that go beyond ownership would be very helpful.
