It’s Pynchon season coming up and one of the things he keeps coming back to in his later books is the idea of extremely powerful or straight-up evil people having a Road to Damascus moment where they try to make up for all the horror they’ve inflicted by using that power to make something right.

My novel in progress, Infinity Land, was longlisted in the WestWord First Chapter competition this morning.
