for me, bringing horror into bright, comfortable settings is part of what makes it horrible, tbh. it takes somewhere you thought you were going to be okay and makes it not okay anymore. there's a reason haunted houses are so effective; because houses are where we're supposed to be safe

Anything banned for use in war should be more than banned from use on Civilians. Tear Gas and other similar gas agents should be entirely banned. It's dangerous excessive force and is used to limit, undermine,endanger and intimidate people using their first amendment rights.
