That graph highlights a partial gender revolution--while women's time use has changed a lot, men's *hasn't changed at all*. This has of course been documented qualitatively, but I *think* I'm the first person to show it in historical time use data. Men literally do the same housework as the 1970s!

I think there's a lot of men who are nominally straight but basically hate women (Andr*w T*te) :( But i also more optimistically think that people can learn to broaden their window of what's attractive/desirable, even if it isn't their personal preference
