I've had a lot of chips. With a lot of dips. In this life. But I think the best it gets as far as combining the two goes is a nice sweet-onion-y bbq chip in some high-quality sour cream. I know you could have like DoubleGarlic Sriracha CheeseBlast or whatever. but sometimes simple things are better.
