Don’t be discouraged. Game development is not easy, by any means. I myself am starting to learn game design from tutorials on YouTube, mostly in unreal engine 5, and I must say, it is a lot to take in at once. Take breaks, if need be, then come back to it when you’re ready. 👍🏻

Ngl though, I have noticed a hike in dlc prices in the last 5 years. It’s getting ridiculous, especially when they decide to can the whole studio of devs. Even if it’s a successful sale.

Maybe for the premium or deluxe editions sure. But not for just the base game. It will be $70. It took years for games to be priced higher like he said, but you don’t just jump to $100. Not when the price hike just now jumped to $70 in the last decade.

Not every game is going to be great and with a limited number of games coming our way as kids, we learned to look for the good and managed to find enjoyment despite the flaws. It’s a shame that perspective seems to be lost in the modern day.
