When I did it, I next moved on to pencil / sharpie out the fur pattern (what's white / blue for you) then I roughed out some further shapes, trying to break them up into "what's the most flat shape I can make" for these curves. After THAT, I also marked out what direction I wanted the fur to go!

I need to fix a bunch of stuff with the mask after such a long parade event, but totally worth it! 'Twas VERY hecken' fun!!

Yessss YOU CAN DO IT!!

Couple tips for the fur:
1. Make a pattern! At least for half the face if it's symmetrical.
2. Use a low temp hot glue gun so you don't burn yourself plopping on the fur!
3. If you're not sewing the face together, you can hide fur seams by folding it inwards where they meet!

Ha! That checks out. Human artists are kind of required when it comes to that kind of specific niche. xD

Basically! I haven't seen any maned caitians on screen, but I know they're theoretically supposed to exist. xD

The com badge is someone's fridge magnet design I modified to have embedded magnets, but instead of the two it came with, I figured 7 would hold a LOT better. Fingers crossed I don't lose this one!

(Also briefly, I'm going to be using the paws / tail of my old fursuit, made by the now very much defunct Dandylions LLC.)

As for the tricorder, I kitbashed someone's design with a phone case to make a somewhat hidden way for me to record the parade!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do too much more with it before Halloween, but I'll see! Biggest thing left is a second layer for the mane, but that's dependant on getting the new fur in time - since my coloring technique didn't do much for the mane fur. xD
