I am the best philosopher. Browse my stacks; i promise you won't be bored.
I was censored for telling people not to interfere with a suicide as " incitement", so i'll be moving on permanently. Check Substack.

In which more or less civilised country in the world are you most likely to be left alone and how much does it cost to move there?

Science is rigor.

Logic is a sub-set of science; rigorous relationships that always replicate.

Math is a sub-set of logic; relationships exclusively of quantity.

Quantity is dividing something into equivalent parts and giving them ordered symbols.

The simulation hypothesis is a non-starter. The only question that can be asked is, "If this was a simulation, what could we expect it to be like? And the only answer is, "Anything at all." There's no There there.

Whatever our external experience is of is what the word reality refers to. If it's a simulation or solipcism or an evil genie, replicable evidence is required before it's rational to take the idea seriously, and none is available. All such ideas are indistinguishable from fiction. #TrivialRealism

Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

All versions of god are either an untestable force or an untestable personified force. All include one or more ineffable attributes and are indistinguishable from fiction. None can be defined sufficiently specifically to discuss rationally.

trivial realism - We evolved to perceive the world more or less as it is bc that's most useful.

There are three primary kinds of philosophy bc philosophy has three primary aims;

a) Truth Wisdom is universal answers.

b) Practical Wisdom is individual solutions.

c) Academic Philosophy is social acceptance proven by credentials earned through compliance. <spit>

We need not hate the beautiful for attracting more than their share of everything in order to acknowledge the importance of the alternative.

a) Deepak Chopra is an evil moron.
b) Alan Watts is an insufferable fool.
c) Terrence McKenna is an insidious idiot. ( insidious - mixes legitimate Practical Wisdom with asinine metaphysics )

Respect any of them at any level at your own peril.

You don't necessarily have to know how someone will react to trust them, but you do have to be certain about the range of their response. Arbitrary can never be trusted.
