I’m reading Trespasser and it is such a fascinating game. Interesting takes on so many fantasy gaming tropes and rules. Even alignment is neat! This game needs more folks talking about it. If you like weird grimdark tactical dungeon fantasy tabletop RPGs, check this out on itch.io , seriously.

Encountering real human people who have also experienced Bible Adventures for the NES makes me feel less insane because that game is so supremely bizarre, particularly the game on that cart where you’re trying to save Baby Moses and can kinda throw him around the screen

Very happy that I finally got to deploy my two new favorite NPCs ever during some Shadow of the Demon Lord games this weekend. Behold my notes for these awful, gross little guys.
The Giggling Tooth-Collector Appearance: hunched over, many-toothed grin, a pile of rotting rags that scuttles here and there, far too many hands constantly slipping in and out of tattered cloaks Speech: heeheehee Demeanor: skittish but jovial, drops teeth and quickly sweeps them up Personality: gregarious, fawning Distinguishing Feature: far, far too many hands Desire: to gather all the best teeth within the wizard’s tower Trait: can smell where the best teeth are within a mile The Filth Bishop Appearance: covered in pustules and boils, wet with slime, a languid and prehensile segmented tongue, a stained mitre bearing a rat skull Speech: wet, bubbly, like a clogged pipe Demeanor: intoxicated, constantly makes undulating gesticulations Personality: cruel, hedonistic Distinguishing Feature: eyes bright with sick desire Desire: to draw more worshippers into the muck
