I'm not sure if there's a Film Studies starter pack out there, but anyone interested in Japanese cinema or just early film in general will want to keep an eye on this account! Eric Faden and his team are doing amazing work on preserving and re-animating Japanese paper-based films from the 1930s! 🎞️
Our first post! As we have done with all our social apps, we start with this REFCY film Kappa Odori. This film was loaned to us to develop our scanning system for paper films. So it is only appropriate we should start with a clip from it! #japan #film #paperfilm #kamifirumu
