a non-zero number of pasty-faced ICE goons who are fully ancestry dot com-pilled about being like .0002% Irish will have their day sincerely, authentically ruined by this knowledge, and that makes it so beautiful to me

So annoying hearing political opinions from people who don't even pay attention to any news whatsoever

Huge congratulations from all of us at the PCC to Paul Thomas Anderson on his well-deserved Golden Globe wins for the extraordinary ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. It continues to play in both digital and 70mm at the PCC until the end of March.

Just seeing this made me run to Daily Motion for a rewatch

Watching The Daily Show feels weird now. Feels like we're past the point of satire. Jon Stewart should be arming the proletariat.

Got 90 minutes into Man On Fire (2004) on Disney+, constantly confused because the Spanish isn't subtitled. Mention to a friend, who replies saying it's on Prime. I check Prime. 6 minutes of adverts later, I give up. It's on Netflix too - YEP it was meant to have subtitles and didn't.

Everyday I see the opinions of people whose opinions were only ever meant to be heard by 3 other regulars in a small town Wetherspoons

Made it to 31 without ever seeing a Bruce Lee film and can confirm Enter The Dragon just blew my mind

You can't keep telling me Pokémon games suck because they're "for kids" when their target audience is my age bracket when they want £600 for some plastic
I get that Lego is for adult collectors at this point but Jesus Christ

The problem with being an aging goth is that the nose ring makes it annoying to trim your nose hair

My thoughts on what America should do about ICE violate the policy of every social media platform

Bluesky doesn't have enough love for the Avatar franchise imo

I've seen Avatar Way Of The Water 5 times in 3 years and I was still blown away by how good Avatar Fire and Ash was. Love those blue fellas. Give me more whale council! These movies need to start hitting the four hour mark asap!

The copying of Spotify Wrapped is getting insane - it was bad enough when my bank wanted to tell me how much I spent on public transport, now my notes app has a Wrapped? When I die I will leave behind so much useless usage data.

Got tickets to Avatar 3 on Sunday but the 48 hours it's out that I'm not seeing it are agony

Would usually back a Manchester AEW crowd to be one of the best crowds for an AEW event, but the crowd last night felt bizarrely quiet and uninvested - I hope their takeaway is less shows starting at 6:30 on a weekday in venues outside of the city centre, and not less shows in Manchester/England

Loved AEW being in Manchester, but I did not expect the show to be THAT long. Although I only have myself to blame for consuming that many £9 pints.

Rob Reiner, one of the greatest. A huge loss. Crazy charming, crazy talented and one of the greatest filmographies of all time. So many of his films are yearly rewatches for me. Heartbreaking to lose him, especially like this.
