How does the eastern distribution limit of #plants in the European #Alps look like? The #Schneeberg 🏔️ (2076 m) in #Austria near #Vienna is a great place to find out! The often isolated occurrences must have been better connected to the other populations in the past.

Bis 30. Jänner 2026 wird das Karl-Lueger-Denkmal abgebaut. Nach einer Restaurierung soll es in einigen Monaten um 3,5 Grad gekippt wieder aufgestellt werden. Die Maßnahme stößt nicht nur wegen der veranschlagten hohen Kosten auf Kritik.
