I teach high school history and my co-teacher and I discussed if we are going to teach the constitution in the present or past tense in the fall.

The entire goal of the Birmingham children's march was to fill the jails with arrested minors to show the police state nature of Jim Crow. People may post #goodtrouble but then miss the entire point of putting yourself on the line to stand up against tyranny

I had the exact same thought! Even with the little "gift" after the beating. It's what he knows: to be a predator and abuser.
