Large fan art piece depicting both renditions of chaos incarnate from the Hades games a very symmetrical and detailed peace with lots of nuanced nods to the characters lore like their trinkets and symbols Two Hand-drawn sword designs. They are sketched in red colored pencil, inked in black and shaded with grey marker. Scanned and cleaned digitally. Left is called the Wolf’s and Sword, where the opening of the scabbard is the maw of a wolf. Right is called Ocean’s Heart, and has a scimitar curse with nicked blade, barnacles growing on the steel, and tentacles/seaweed wrapping the guard. A giant eye sits as the centerpiece where the blade meets hilt. Traditionally drawn scene of my groups, D&D party sitting on logs and taking a break in a field with Ye Old McDonald’s. There are six members total, an aasimir drinking a shake and sketching with a quill, a stoic drow with a McFlurry, a sun elf monk stealing the half-orc bard’s chicken nuggets (the bard is trying to feed it to the drow’s bird familiar)..there’s a teifling feeding French fries to a baby Griffin in the lap of a big barbarian orc, who’s double fisting big burgers and has a 2XL drink by him. Brightly colored with copic markers! A photo of a cake that has a painterly scene pipe on in buttercream icing. The scene is of an old rustic train crossing a bridge in an autumn scene with lots of natural golds, greens oranges, and browns. It is made to resemble a classical painting and has lots of textures and details in the dimensionality of the icing.

CHAOS INCARNATE

#SupergiantGames #HADES #HADESII #FANART
Densely detailed rendition of the deity CHAOS with its different incarnations in both Supergiant Games HADES and HADES II. The entire composition is symmetrical save for some key details like the globe earring or the flower petal eyes on their wings in the back. There’s so much going on with references to Chaos’ trinkets in both games, the Embryo and the Egg, there’s like a bunch of colorful hair that has no end connecting from the first Chaos to the New Chaos, and many bones, and bat wings, and so many eyes and faces on them shoulder pads, the red origination flowers, the mark behind them of the arrows going different directions, every detail is a nod to some aspect of the character. Also Chaos 2.0 has their hands framing the form of OG Chaos, who has umbilical cords connecting them to the Chaos fetus, who’s got their hands out just like Chaos 2.0 framing the Chaos Egg, which I personally think is pretty darn neat! Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.
