Our military carried out illegal and unconstitutional orders on behalf of that man. Now all of us in the US know the truth. The military is on Trump’s side. It’s not as long a walk from bombing Caracas to shooting citizens that disagree with that man.

The seventies are meant to be listened to on vinyl.

Don’t outsource your brain to AI.

Let’s stop calling them victims and start calling them survivors.

AI can never be intelligent. It was trained on us and have you looked around at us? We’re a mess.

Just want to remind Wall Street it wasn’t poor people leaping to their death when the Great Crash happened in 1929.

If you are using LLMs to reply to the world, did you really respond?

You know how Charles Dickens thought three ghosts would bring an evil capitalist to his knees? As if he would suddenly have shame when shown his wicked ways?

Not sure what is funnier. Jake Paul getting his jaw moved four inches to the left or all the gamblers that lost their bet on him.
Underdog Paul being bet heavily to beat Joshua
Despite being a 7-1 underdog, Jake Paul has attracted 82% of the bets and 90% of the money wagered at DraftKings for his fight against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Hey, all you blue staters. Why are you pushing for civil war? Who do you think is going to suffer first? Who do you think is already suffering at red state hands? It is awfully easy to be brave when you are throwing bombs from inside the castle walls.

I am finding this whole ‘the military will stand up for the Constitution’ naive. They are killing innocent people in the Caribbean, and I don’t see an exodus of sailors or soldiers resigning in disgust.
December 14, 2025 at 3:02 PM
So sick and tired of cynical posters claiming no one in the US is doing anything about Trump’s takeover. People are protesting somewhere every day. Mutual aid societies are sprouting up all over. Communities are fighting back. The cynics don’t see it, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
December 9, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Between Trump, the oligarchs, and all the armed Cletus’s down the street, there sure seems like a lot of people in the US want to kill other people with impunity.

Sunny days don’t sell umbrellas, just like reporting good news doesn’t sell Ozempic.

It’s not that AI is bad (it is), it’s that it’s hopelessly mediocre.

I don’t often bake, though I once did frequently. I volunteered to make rolls for #thanksgiving. Dusting off a favorite old bread recipe, I kneaded and baked, and I think I did okay.

The crappy thing about disability is that it has a tendency to shrink your world. And my world is feeling awfully small right now.

You know why they don’t want to release the Epstein files? Because after they get done redacting the president’s name, there were no files left.
November 15, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Screw the emails. Quit waiting for someone to release the files. The victims have already told us what happened. Believe the victims.

Thinking about bubbles and the one coming up.
Bubbles
You know that feeling before a thunderstorm, that sense of inevitably before the thunder? It's like that, except, the internet and the inevitable AI bubble

Can’t believe people are defending Schumer around here. A leader who can’t keep his caucus in line is no leader at all. At best Schumer is feckless, at worst, complicit.

They didn’t fight.
They capitulated.
People around the country wanted the fight.
They capitulated.
People were supporting their communities, prepared for the fight. They capitulated.
We are alone.
They capitulated.
