The amount of people warning us that we have to do everyone in our power to fight fascism while simultaneously telling us it’s too difficult to leave Substack is astounding.

Which in turn means they're so consultant-pilled they think a moderate strategy is a winning strategy even though the last 20 years have seen them just barely able to suppress left-wing nominees using outright conspiratorial methods while the GOP has elected 21st Century Hitler twice.

There is a very real possibility that we're going to see guys like Mark Kelly promising moderate reforms while a dark horse comes out of nowhere with "I will instruct the Justice Department to pursue capital punishment" to raucous cheers and I don't think they're prepared for that.

So people demand "AI" sycophancy, refuse to interact w/ *less* sycophantic "AI", & then get increasingly ill-disposed toward interacting w/ other human beings, preferring, again, an "AI" system that is actively locking them into a loop of skills dependency, bias confirmation, & hostility.
