I think a lot of people don’t understand how efficient and intricate the MC / Visa call operations are and how a limited but dedicated number of people can completely derail things
If this keeps happening, managers notice, managers of managers notice.
Satisfaction numbers for the service as a whole go down. If it keeps going long enough, they risk damage to the brand.
"You can't get through to VISA if something is wrong" is not a reputation they want.

By the way, a friend has been convincing me to post sketches more often, so I thought I'd oblige and share my original sketch of Jasmine when I just had the vague idea for a squeaky maneki-neko.
