I was recently reminded of my old picture (still one of my faves I've made!) & its scenario, when reading recently the 2024-present fic "Beyond the End" by Garmfild.

The fic's got a more heartbreaking take on the concept. It is so 💔😭 But fascinates & captivates me!

Been feeling stronger at overcoming the nervous "I'm entering a crowded place where everyone's better than me" mind-ghost. And it's helping with letting loose.

And to make the planning now feel less "delaying the beginning forever" and more "gettin' ready to leap of faith! let's go!"

I'm writing... a bit. Some updating of the comic outline here, some worldbuilding documents there. Have a few scripts for pages (& even some rough sketches!) even!

tbh, even though I missed my "Launch on 2 Nov." self-goal, that I'm working on it, like this, feels wonderful QwQ

Of course, eventually I'll figure out how to make this more than a gut feeling and OMG just solved it as I was typing this.

Now they're a good foil to one of my existing villainous characters too...! *rubs scheming paws together* hehehehe
