A TMZ poll on X has Kid Rock as having the better halftime show. Even though I didn't watch the Superbowl or the performance, I signed up to X to vote against Kid Rock and deactivated my account.

However, so far from what I have seen on videos, the show by Kid Rock was complete garbage.

Do you want to know why "America" was so great in the 1950's?

A major reason is that the Interstate Highway system was established in 1956 and the railway system had not yet lost it's importance. One efficient way to be great again is by investing in intermodal transportation to reduce bottlenecks.

I don't know much but I know that tax write offs and breaks for the ultra rich won't fix this problem. It's only going to get worse before it gets better.

But sleepy Joe Biden's Build Back Better and Big Government expansion ... meanwhile federal agents patrol our streets.

I have come to the realization that these, mostly white, men joined ICE simply to kill immigrants and libs. I expect the internet to give these 8 CoD Warriors no quarter and release their identities so they can be publicly shamed like Agent Ross. Don't let them breathe a moment of peace from now on.

I don't typically share my home made dishes here but maybe I should start.

Spaghetti with eggplant, tahini, and oregano oil sauce.

From the people who brought you "Don't Tread on Me", now comes:

"Obey orders from masked, unidentified and armed men, wearing a Temu vest with the words "POLICE ICE" patched on it, as they try to forcibly remove you from the vehicle."

Might as well let kids take candy from strangers at this point.

ICE just murdered a U.S. citizen.

This violence is the direct result of racist rhetoric coming from Donald Trump and his allies.

This is dangerous state-sanctioned violence. We will not stay silent while unqualified masked federal agents terrorize our communities.

Democratic States should stop acting like the Obamacare subsidies are a tragedy for their residents and do something about it. States can establish State sponsored universal healthcare for their citizens. This isn't unconstitutional and we don't need the Regime's help. Step up for your residents!

Terrorist Bolivarian groups have operated in the region for years. While the head may have been removed, it doesn't mean that Bolivarianism will go down quietly, if at all. Unlike Iraq, this region is close enough for these groups to cause real economic and infrastructural damage with little effort.

Trying to digest the news. This was done over the weekend to prevent any fallout in the stock market, oil price increases and international repercussions. If I were a betting man, I would bet that Maduro will be back in Venezuela by the end of next week once the repercussions are fully known.

Unpopular opinion: while unfortunate, Argentina’s owed over the $40B debt it received. From the Cold War through the 1990s, the US supported military regimes and compliant civilian governments across Latin America, especially Argentina. This cost the country trillions in unrealized development.

I don't know why but I get this feeling that our most important trade partners will pose sanctions in the US if the regime continues to push towards war with Venezuela. If you think things are expensive now, just imagine how they'll be when all imported products disappear from the shelves.

Undocumented immigrants are not responsible for most crime in the U.S. Studies show they offend at lower rates than native-born Americans. Whites have the most total arrests and African Americans have higher rates per capita. Ultimately, POVERTY, not ethnicity, remains the strongest driver of crime.

This is counting 20% of how much we'd save from vehicles sitting on traffic jams. To further increase savings we need:
- Very frequent service on major bus and train lines
- Reliable buses with dedicated lanes
- More Park-and-Ride routes
- Transit oriented development
- Traffic pricing policies
Based on estimates from the Philadelphia Parking Authority, traffic analytics, and trucking data, Philly loses $1.08–$3.3B yearly to congestion. Improved public transit could cut over 20% of that, recovering more than $200M annually and boosting productivity.
