Still stunned to have been able to see the rare and endangered Urwaldrelikt #beetle Tragosoma depsarium in the Bavarian Forest last night! 😍🐞
...and the sunset wasn't bad either!

In the next days we will start a lab #experiment to find out if and how #temperature alters their stress levels🌡😬 Taken together with field data this might help us understand effects of microclimate on #forestbiodiversity
