Loved that I could add a little creative twist to our Necrodes littoralis paper led by Annika Busse and @cofeuniwue.bsky.social by drawing some cute little painted 🎨🪲 beetles. Also impressive how far they can fly! #CarrionClub #silphidae

Some beetles were recaptured at distances over 30 km! These results have important implications for conservation efforts and for preventing disease spread from carcasses.
