Last month, we sued the Trump Admin for attempting to cut off funding to support survivors of domestic abuse & violent crimes in the name of their cruel immigration policies.

I worked at the department of defense. There is not one single person I ever met from generals down who’d agree that they “kill people and break things” for a living. That is not the purpose of the DoD nor is itreflective of the oath that all members take, regardless of how you rebrand it.

I remember in 2013 when we at VA took our DoD partners’ work as possible while they were furloughed (VA healthcare had a continuing resolution so we could keep working). I remember loaning money to a DoD colleague. These are people with America’s work on their desks and kids and bills.
