*The* book. The one you wait till you’re grown up to write. My family’s story. Historical, magical realism. WWII Italy, fascism, cave fairies, superstition, cunning women, bombs & bees & a young woman who alters lives in a time where power is only for men carrying guns or crosses. THE QUEEN MUST DIE

WEAPONS and THE CHAIR COMPANY are basically stories about how Americans are paranoid weirdos looking at the wrong thing and gassing themselves into doing the violence they want to do

Trump's ugly Thanksgiving meltdown
It's getting so bad that even Republicans are starting to notice.

NYC dog lovers!
It's December. The goal is to find MELIA a home for Christmas. We can do this. Over 810 days waiting. Poor baby. A quiet adult only home, no dogs, cats are ok. 3.5 years old, around 50 lbs. Come on New York!

Today is World AIDS Day, a day that reminds me of the decades-long fight for dignity, science, and compassion. We’ve come so far because activists, researchers, and communities refused to be ignored.

Guillermo Del Toro's "At the Mountains of Madness."
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Incredibly great news:
BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

Should I tell my family I stayed up late to clean the washing machine of a hellscape of gunk, snaked the bathroom sinks and bathtubs, among other gross tasks? Or should I try my best to be the saint I am not?
