I wrote to @leewelchwriter.bsky.social that I am one of the people who'd happily wear a "Run as if Mr Collins just proposed!" shirt.

"Mr Collins in Love" changed my mind. It shows the Austen character in a new light and makes him more approachable.

First two in the Raiders of the Arcana series by @jbensonink.bsky.social. Both excellent. There's also a prequel novella and a deleted scene available on Ms Benson's website. (unfortunately the short story from Adam's POV friends gushed about is not online😢)

I was lucky to receive an ARC of the UK edition of The Martian Contingency by @maryrobinettekowal.com. It's out in the US, and will be published in the UK on March 27th.

Got the audiobook yesterday to re-read. Kowal is a fantastic author and narrator.

Book Nerd Problem: You preorder the US edition of a book, to match the previous novels in the series, but the German bookshop you ordered from sends you the UK edition. 😕🤬
Why do bookshop clerks do that?
