Some new laserdisc pickups for the collection. I love Phantom of the Paradise, and Road Warrior is good, but I've never seen the bottom ones before.

I finally managed to finish painting and basing a model. It was a very slow process, but I learned a lot along the way.

Some new additions to the laserdisc collection today.
I hadn't heard of Ishtar before, but apparently it's quite a polarizing movie. Either one of the the worst, or one of the best. Once I get a new CRT I'll have to see for myself.

Saw Sonic 3 yesterday. It was great, not a perfect movie, not breaking any new ground, but it was exactly what I wanted.

Wedding is over, honeymoon is over, thanksgiving is over. Now that things have finally calmed down, I can get back to posting. Starting with wedding pictures. Not sure if I'm going to post any from the event itself, but here's some of the decorations in place before things got underway.

I turned my back for just a minute and he snuck into the bedroom and hid. Then when I left, he jumped onto the bed and waited for me to find him with a smug look on his face

There's something satisfying about building things. Finished this box to boost up an ikea shelf today. Just waiting on the second coat of paint before I put it into place. It's not perfect, but it is sturdy. Just have to rebuild the living room doors, and my big remodeling project will be done
