I have no energy for bad faith trolls and the "I'm critical of everyone's actions and beliefs, but never my own" crowd: y'all need therapy.
I think we all agree here but tell that to the capitalists. Their risk is practically zero and they're continuing to benefit to the tune of tens--maybe hundreds--of billions in speculatory value.

Honest question: How much of the userbase is NOT using 365. Customers have been aggressively steered away from perpetual licensing for a decade or more, making it hard for someone not dedicated to finding it, to actually find it.

If it weren't painfully obvious by now that we need people to be serious about legislative AI guardrails WRT to privacy, instead of cheering for it to be shoehorned into every last product, hopefully this is a wakeup call to some of them.

While I 1000% agree with this, and it should be painfully obvious at this point with respect to individual data privacy, there is no way they could slurp enough data to flesh out the model without enabling ingestion of everything without anyone's consent.
