Okay so this sounds corny, but I just spent the last month binging Parenthood which is all about appreciating family and being there and loving each other even though life is hard and people make mistakes. And it’s really given me some kind of weird inner peace about my children growing older 😭

Thank you. Teenage years can have some bumps but I’ve got two really awesome kids. The best thing about my oldest now having moved away is that he texts and chats more than ever, daily. We’ll make each other random, funny video messages. It’s meant the world to me

Yes, but it’s okay. I have been having fun revisiting tapes and CDs of which there’s not too much overlap. I’ll get around to fixing the issue eventually, hopefully before the holidays

Okay so I ended up buying some refillable little fabric bags which are numbered for the days up to Christmas and I’m going to make my own with stuff for the boy. Mine used to get the Star Wars Lego advent every year and that was probably the favorite, but omg so $$
