The president is falling asleep durring a White House cabinet meeting with each member praising him for his resilience. What are we doing America? This is so embarrassing.

Evidence of rain-driven climate on Mars found in bleached rocks scattered in Jezero crater
Rocks that stood out as light-colored dots on the reddish-orange surface of Mars now are the latest evidence that areas of the small planet may have once supported wet oases with humid climates and he...

Kerkez owns the 2nd and 4th PSV goals. In 4th he’s overcommitted to attack and jogs back in recovery, forcing VVD into a zonal defense of counterattack. #LFC

Kerkez put on a master class in poor FB play v PSV. 2nd PSV goal was Kerkez never being ball side and goal side on Til in scoring sequence. He simply lacks EPL or UCL-grade speed. He overhits every insertion pass in attack, making it impossible for attack partner to cleanly handle ball. #LFC

Luna will get no credit for the second US goal, but his work rate and aggressiveness created it. @usmnt.ussoccer.com

#usapar never noticed this in EPL, but Almiron falls over on every contact. Disgusting from a player of his skill level.

Roldan manages to turn a quality ball from Arfsten into space at top of 18 into an easy save for PAR GK. He’s particularly adept at that…#usapar

Memo to Arfsten: allow me to introduce you to Miguel Almiron. He may be ending his career in MLS, but he had 23 goals for @newcastleunited.com. He can play. As you just learned. #usapar

Some may not like his attitude at times, but as Gio Reyna goes, so goes @usmnt.ussoccer.com. #usapar

When USMNT has to play Christian Roldan in central MF, you know our stock of central attacking MFs is thin.

If you’re gonna get beat, get beat by a team that comprehensively outplays you. #baonpdx

This match is over if she hits that with her LEFT foot. #baonpdx

Going 3-back to get more bodies into attack zone was a good idea, but it assumes your wing MFs are going to do their defensive jobs. Fory on first 2 and Antony on third did not do their jobs. It’s just that simple. If you don’t want it bad enough to work for it, you don’t go forward. #rctid
November 10, 2025 at 3:37 AM
It may seem a bit hair-on-fire, but our defense is doing an outstanding job of supporting a full-on attack effort. #rctid
November 10, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Fory had better get his head straight on getting into recovery or we’ll be down 3 soon…#rctid
November 10, 2025 at 3:04 AM
Fory has put on a master class on how to NOT defend the wing in a 3-back setup. Gets beat ball watching on first goal, gets beat not busting back to cover far post on second goal. Those are high school-level defending mistakes. #rctid

That was impressive. At the hour mark, SAN was in charge of the match. Thorns used speed and technical skill to assert a bit of counterattack paired with pressure on ball after turnover to seize momentum. That’s what champions do. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Look at the work rate right now at both ends - Thorns can taste victory. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:58 PM
Now Thorns have shifted defensive style to heavy pressure on wide balls. Smart - the easiest way to get hurt right now is to let crosses into 18 from wide. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Thorns are defending intelligently in final minutes, less 1v1 aggression, more focus on pressuring the passing lanes. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:48 PM
In extra time, Thorns have upped their level of aggression and suddenly have SAN on back foot. Sign of a champion: finds the next gear when it’s needed. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:34 PM
Sophie is such a beast. Takes contact at full speed inside 18, yet uses an excellent touch to get free and another excellent touch to drop a dime on far post. Pure quality. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Coffey deserves the PK. She was playing ball and taken down by defender who wasn’t playing ball. An officiating gift for SAN. I get it, but an official needs to avoid such direct impact on a match. #baonpdx
November 9, 2025 at 10:23 PM
A defender’s worst nightmare: Olivia Moultrie on the ball in space, driving. She gets those shoulders up and over the ball a la Gerrard and nothing but bad is going to happen for the defense. #baonpdx
