Eh. I've got a lot of that gen-x pessimism that I'm trying to replace with optimism as I can. I like animals, books, plants, and kindness. He/Him.

I suspect this account will largely be an old-man-yells-at-cloud space
Wait, am I reading that right? That there are 1082 graduates in Region 1 for 28 jobs in Region 1!?

Walking through the grocery store a few weeks ago, We Built This City was playing, and a LOT of people were singing along quietly under their breathe... And then I noticed I was too. The horror.

Define "ultra processed". It is a meaningless concept.

Not just moral sense: actual sense too. She seemed actually unable to understand the distinction he was making between releasing info when it helps people vs holding onto it and releasing it only for profit.

She is so uncomfortable to watch.

I want to think that the desire for a professional, functional government would push that percentage lower... But I don't think I do believe that.

In all fairness I'd probably flunk the "What sound does the rhino make?" test.

Like a grunty donkey like sound maybe?

We had essentially a sales meeting from Microsoft that said almost exactly the same thing except it was couched as, "executives are leading the way and employees are lagging behind".

The stuffing is the only thing with moisture, but it looks like a soggy gloopy mess

If you can think of an enjoyable thing, there is some man out there not doing it because he's afraid it will make him look gay. Seriously. Any damn thing you can think of up to and including having sex with women.

Had a chat with someone the other day that I previously respected in which he argued that the newer versions of LLMs have consciousness or are approaching it. I no longer respect that guy.

Right, I wasn't super sure about the math but in either case not enough to get bent out of shape about considering all the grift going on.

Its just usually done badly. Of course plenty of people have only ever had it bad, and seem to like it anyway, so I dunno.

I heard so much about her pension... When I looked it up though, the amount is tied to years if service, so she'll be getting like $15k per year. Shitty, but really not worth the energy that is getting hurled at it.

I had moral pangs about using a ten year old bag of Goya dried chickpeas that I bought BEFORE the whole thing with the owner. I recognize how dumb that is of course.

Along with what others have said: get your foot in the door and get some experience. Any experience on your resume helps. I did three internships in school and I think they were vital to my success getting hired. This was 20 years ago though so ymmv.

I'd move Rogue One up to #3, move Return of the Jedi down another slot or two, and Revenge of the Sith down to #10.

They were nice looking biscuits.

Moreso the other people walking their dogs, but sometimes the dogs too.

Same. I never want an early access game... I think it us better to just wait until it is "done".

I'm mostly done with Hades 2, just have 2 relationships left to max out I think and some of the "oaths of the unseen" things.

Did they just give the guys home address? Seems like a bad idea.

Did they think Haiti was like Gilligan's Island size or something? Wtf.
