Umm, it was a lyric from a little ditty called The Star Spangled Banner. For reasons I can't begin to understand, I was singing "who'd brought stripes and brought stars" for years. Learned the song when very young and not really thinking about the lyrics, and then I was just on autopilot, I guess🤷♂️
