He/him. Seattle. People should be able to walk and roll without dying.
Here's a QR-code-less version of a poster that we used to create political pressure about the I90 trail lights, which you (or other folks up north) should feel free to steal.

I miss when the columbia city funeral home was open, and was a destination for affordably priced businesses.

Whether we like it or not, the right wing provocateurs are going to ramp up nonsense about necessary transportation policy in our city.

I really hope we reimagine MLK jr way S for all the people that live on the street. Our transit boulevard should live up to its billing.

One of the coolest things I saw in Toulouse was the redevelopment of the Toulouse-Montaudran airport. It's a bigger project than what Mike is talking about, but we have some seriously brownfield opportunities in Seattle and the region and I wish we could do this type of development.

Had a lovely time biking around and buying food with @mesmith35673.bsky.social for cranksgiving yesterday.

Glad to see these barriers back ahead of schedule

From dark to.... slightly less dark.

Thanks to those that came out, helped light up the night, and chatted with community members about getting the lights back on.

"What's the crisis"

The crisis is that in college town in downstate Illinois which historically had cheap as dirt housing, there's enough people that can't afford shelter that one of the few third-space indoor spaces in the walkable-ish downtown just removed it's tables.

Is this a suburb?

It's 10pm on Monday, so a Columbia City business owner has decided to graciously let the rest of the Columbia City community know that the CCBA is hosting SDOT in 11 hours to discuss parking changes that impact the whole community.

The Friends of Judkins Park are dropping a mix tape of Bright Vibes Only. Limited edition. You'll have to stop by the I90 Trail between 5:30 and 6:30 next Thursday (weather permitting).

I'm going to slowly remake this shots from this DSA PSA, but with the downtown ambassador bikes instead of scooters.

New poster hot off the presses

I understand that a decent amount of this is probably people publicly grieving, but it really starts to veer into conspiratorial NIMBYism

Shortly after I took this photo I watched as a driver illegally using the bus lane honked at this person on a bike because they wanted to pass them illegally in the bus lane

I've got a solid applicable poster, just replace the qr code

Here's a post from a neighbor of mine from today blaming changes on Rainier Ave for causing drivers to ignore stop signs at Wilson (an overbuilt arterial) and Orcas (an overbuilt arterial).
November 9, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Yes, I promise we have tried to work this more subtly.
November 9, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Thanks to those that came out and put up posters today. We'll keep working on this issue because our community deserves safe, well lit, parks.
November 9, 2025 at 12:03 AM
No parking?
November 8, 2025 at 8:15 PM
It's a day that ends in y so this dick is obviously blocking the trail
November 8, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Which btw here's Friday morning and Friday evening. The only shocking bit is that the driver of the black heavily tinted car lost "their" spot

Are you frustrated that lights on the I90 trail have been out for a year?

Come to Cafe Weekend this Saturday at 10am to get involved in fixing the lights!
