Base congressional pay at average labor salary, and determine their health care insurance (also premiums) the same way. This policy change would assure congress is only comprised of dedicated people who put country and Constitution first, much like teachers and firefighters already do.

You mentioned snow. I live in Michigan, USA, in the middle of the Great Lakes. We 'enjoy' what is termed Lake Effect snow, meaning the moisture from the lakes create ideal conditions for heavy snow dumping inland. I saw this t-shirt in a store. The sales associate said they are soon to sell out.
