Meandering in the forest behind the homestead, I came across these mysterious manifestations reminiscent of The Blair Witch Project. I have a neighbor who is an artist, and I think she is the source of this unnerving mischief.
This collection of images displays unnerving evidence of Banshee presence in the midst of a nearby forest, featuring a shattered plastic snowman to various available wood and stone mystic creations.

You mentioned snow. I live in Michigan, USA, in the middle of the Great Lakes. We 'enjoy' what is termed Lake Effect snow, meaning the moisture from the lakes create ideal conditions for heavy snow dumping inland. I saw this t-shirt in a store. The sales associate said they are soon to sell out.
A dark t-shirt is emblazoned with bright blue and while lettering stating (mocking the famous song): 'Let It Snow...somewhere else'.

Thanksgiving

The team doesn't seem too confident about the upcoming conflict.
Chess pieces are lined up on the board, prepared for battle. Their intricately carved features convey a sense of foreboding about the upcoming battle. The pieces are replicas of those discovered on the Isle of Lewis in 1831 CE, but believed to be made in Norway around 1200 CE.

Don't blame me. It's his slobber all over the window.
A large black spots on white German Shorthaired Pointer sits and stares out the window, intent on examining every detail. There is a lot of his slobber on the window, obscuring the clarity of the image. He really drools for birds and squirrels, though he is a rescue and not a hunter. He also has a heart of gold.

The air here is so crisp and clear...so when one gasps at the magnificent scenery, one's lungs hurt.
Snow capped Fitzsimmons Range is framed by mountain evergreens. A blue green lake peeks between the trees at the mountain's base.

Canyonlands NP.
Next visit I'm going to travel that road way down there.
Canyonlands NP, in Utah, is the less famous of the two national parks near Moab (the other being Arches NP). Both feature extraordinary geology, but in Canyonlands, one can get lost for weeks and not see another person, making this special place extremely appealing.

Just imaging being a soldier ordered to capture this (Dunguaire) castle under a hail of arrows, hot tar, and boulders.
One thousand years ago, looking upward at this imposing castle would strike fear into the soul of even the bravest warriors ordered to capture it. Now it is a tourist attraction.
