There’s only 1 person in Congress who doesn’t trade stocks, doesn’t take corporate PAC money, and has a public schedule. That’s me. And it should be the standard.

I spent my childhood inside of American concentration camps. I know one when I see one. And that is what ICE is building.

Why would any Secretary of State in his or her right mind waste their time to listen to a blustering old fool? The Constitution clearly states that they are in charge of elections, not Trump. Ignore him.

What does DeSantis have against Floridians? It seems like the new Republican mantra is to hate the people you represent. Anyone with a brain knows how this will turn out.

And so Democrates set themselves up again to lose an election because "using the words I want to use" excuses compromising with insanity. What a bunch of BS.
I think @wajali.bsky.social was clear. He acknowledges the current fight, but asks @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social to lead on the long term goal of abolishing ICE. I don’t understand the leader’s reticence on that very simple, and frankly moderate position.
A simple ? from Wajahat Ali pushes Hakeem Jeffries into a crashout:

"Why not lead and abolish ICE? What you're telling us is you want our taxpayer dollars to pay for a lawless masked armed agency to continue terrorizing our cities."

Jeffries: "I don't understand anything you just said to me."

Raskin: What makes somebody a good lawyer?

You have to identify with the people who are the victims of injustice — not with their perpetrators.

So I would say to Pam Bondi: If you’re going to stand with the victimizers and not the victims, then you’re not a real lawyer.

It doesn't matter whether Congress approves it or not. The only way to change it is to change the Constitution. Unsurprisingly, the process to change it is also in the Constitution. This is all nonsense, which is also unsurprising.
He’s so desperate. If he can’t force a law he’ll cheat and lie about it being rigged. Plus he has people in his cabinet that can do things to force his lies as truth and will go along with him no matter what. I’m truly afraid the country is really fucked!!

Getting big money out of politics.

Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages.

If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.

What is the American Bar Association's position on this nonsense? I'm sure if they disbarred her for violating the constitution, being completely incompetent and violating ethical standards of the profession, she would not be allowed to stay in this position. She is a disgrace.

It's amazing how many ways Trump can find to embarrass himself. He fails to understand that he is supposed to support and defend all Americans, not just MAGA. He will go down in history as a failure.
The #Trump admin plans to rescind $600 million in public health funds from 4 states led by Democrats because it finds the grants “inconsistent with agency priorities,” according to documents reviewed by The NYT.

Slated to be cut are California, Colorado, Illinois and Minnesota.
