Wanted: recommendations for a training course on how to use data in digital PR campaigns.

I’d like the course to cover: how to collect data, good public data sources, how to analyse data to create a story and pitching data-led PR.

As we head into 2025, the shift toward AI-driven search seems almost inevitable. I’d love to hear how you think AI will redefine digital PR in the coming years? And how you’re planning to integrate it into your service offering?

How much do you think brand influences media coverage? 📰

For instance, if you were to pitch the exact same story from a well-known household brand vs. a new start-up, do you think it would impact the amount of coverage and links landed?

Wrapped a PR campaign without landing tier-one media coverage? That doesn’t mean it failed.

Success isn’t just defined by links in flashy national newspapers. Sometimes landing coverage in trade publications, where your client’s customers are engaged, is the result that moves the needle most 📈

🚨 Advice needed please 🚨

I’m looking for the best techniques for digital PR campaign ideation. As part of a small PR team in a boutique agency, the process is largely my responsibility, but I’m looking for some fresh, effective approaches to improve idea creation in 2025.

Is the era of the ‘hero campaign’ ending in digital PR? Chatting with a colleague on what landed best with the UK media in 2024, the consensus was that speedy, reactive PR and expert commentary outperformed big, time-intensive campaigns. Are others seeing the same shift? What’s working for you?

🎶🎸 Looking for inspiration to make your next digital PR campaign go ‘supersonic’? (see what I did there?!)

Here’s a perfect example from Lloyds Bank, using its own data to tap into the current news agenda and land some great national coverage.
