something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

Feels odd though, I only want to explore topics that interest me and tear them apart to put them back together. Like how odd it is to be a programmer in a field of artists and rarely be considered a “creative.”

Reading takes by non-systems type people on how player rankings should work is as painful as reading takes by STEM bros about how modern art is pointless and dumb. Both have no experience with the subject but are utterly convinced that the problem is trivial and the creators are morons

Kinda wonder how chaotic it would be for a server (like the 8s server) to grant “credits” if you play a match in the tier below, and playing a match in the tier above would cost credits. So if you’re T1 and wanna play a TX match, you have to have at least one credit from playing a T2 match.

Was an eye opening experience & I learned a lot about the things I need to improve upon.
Highly recommend this server to anyone in the low level looking to push midlevel.

For SQ map list how important it is that it balances out the maps at map list stage.
Like I could balance out so that both teams get equal amount of "votes" and then it might be that the end result favors one team over other. This just would be an easy fix for the "default maps" problem
