this really applies to all our activism. It is serious but it also needs joy. For the other side seeks to destroy joy itself. It seeks cruelty instead of love, it seeks misery instead of happiness. Being happy, being goofy, being joyful, is just as much a sign of defiance as is throwing bricks.
