Nobody had any idea how to sell video games in the 90s (and well into the 2000s) so a good chunk of game ads were just sex/masturbation jokes that told you virtually nothing about the game itself. The prime example being this absolutely unhinged Goemon's Great Adventure (N64) ad:

As much as many cartoons exist to sell toys, it seems like a lot of Square Enix games exist to sell expensive tchotchkes to rich fans.

The Switch 1 voucher system is ending soon. There was some question whether games released after vouchers stopped being sold would be eligible, but I've just been able to put one of my vouchers toward Tomodachi Life which releases in April.

At first I thought this display hadn't changed much in the several years between Crisis Core and VII Remake, but then I noticed they got rid of their "Mad Malbros" posters in favor of "Mad Malboros" posters.

Since I got a new mic the computer can understand my voice commands better, but also misinterprets other noise as voice commands more often. Playing FFVII Remake something triggered the command to transcribe, so I came back to this sitting in a Discord text entry.
